As the release of Yudhra approaches on September 20, 2024, Siddhant Chaturvedi is feeling a mix of excitement and nervousness. This film marks his debut as a solo lead in a high-octane action thriller, and the actor admits that the stakes feel higher than ever.
In a recent interview, Siddhant opened up about the challenges he faced during the making of Yudhra and the pressure that comes with leading such a big project. “There’s definitely a bit of pressure and fear, which is part of the job. I’ve always wanted to be a part of a film like this, something that can surprise people, and I think Yudhra will do just that,” he shared. “But some things are out of our control, and we just have to trust the process.”
The actor, who has previously made his mark with films like Gully Boy and Phone Bhoot, revealed that Yudhra is a departure from the typical action films seen in Bollywood. The film features intense fight sequences and showcases Siddhant performing various martial arts like Jiu-Jitsu, kickboxing, taekwondo, and gymnastics. The action choreography, handled by internationally renowned stunt directors, brings a fresh and global touch to the film’s combat scenes.
“The action in Yudhra is something we worked hard on. I trained for years, focusing on martial arts and building the physique needed for the role. There were times during the pandemic when production was halted, but I kept at it, training on my own for hours every day. By the time we resumed shooting, I was ready,” Siddhant said.
The actor’s dedication to the role is clear, as he immersed himself in the physicality and intensity required for the character. He added, “I was in that zone, like ‘The Karate Kid’. I love action and wanted to give it my all.”
Yudhra, which took almost four years to complete due to the pandemic, promises to offer audiences a thrilling action-packed experience. As Siddhant prepares for its release, he remains hopeful that his hard work will pay off and that audiences will embrace his solo-hero debut with the same excitement he has for the project.
The countdown to September 20 is on, and all eyes are on Siddhant Chaturvedi as he takes his first step into the world of solo-led action films with Yudhra.
